Roaring success at the weekend in Valencia for Kessel Racing

Ferrari Challenge

After the one-two-three win on Saturday in Race one in the Shell Cup in Race-two Kessel Racing put four cars on the first four places in the classification. Thus the winner of the race, Jacques Duyver, concluded his weekend in Valencia thanks to his victory in Race with a double-win. Second position went to Singhania, ahead of Scheltema and Lovat. Cuhadaroglu didn’t finish the race. He went off track, fortunately without any damage.

In the Pirelli Trophy AM Alexis De Bernardi repeated his spectacular performance from Saturday’s Race one, and gained another second place, right behind Tommaso Rocca (Rossocorsa).

After today’s races Duyver is still leading the Shell Cup classification with 40 points ahead of the now second-placed Singhania, overtaking Prinoth, who is now in third place. In the Pirelli Trophy AM Nelson leads with two points ahead of Vezzoni, followed by De Bernardi in fifth position.

The next Ferrari Challenge race will be started in the first week of November on the race track of Mugello, where the last races in the European Championship will be held as well as the Finali Mondiali.

TIZIANA BORGHI (Team Manager): “What can I say at the end of such a race weekend… just perfect. In Misano Adriatico Bianchi won the Championship and here in Valencia we filled the podiums in the Shell Cup in both races with great performance by all drivers. Alexis De Bernardi gained two places on the podium in the Pirelli Trophy and missed victory by a whisker in the AM category. As of tomorrow we’ll concentrate on the Finali Mondiali….where we naturally want to win again.”
